Why should I have my windows cleaned and maintained?
There are many reasons but the most important reasons why you should have your windows professionally cleaned. Firstly, the longer they stay dirty, the harder they are to clean, increasing the chance of damage due to staining and etching of glass. The second reason is they just plain look great when they are clean – from the inside when you look out and when you look at your house from the outside. They will shine like the accents they were meant to be. By the way, that will increase the curb appeal of your home!
What is included in your window cleaning service?
To start with, we go the extra mile for our clients. We scrub each pane and surrounding frame with non-abrasive soap and water. We scrape, when necessary, when there’s something a little more stubborn to remove. We wipe out the tracks. All of this is done with the care we have for our own homes. The bottom line is this: we want our clients to be confident when referring us that their friends will receive the same level of quality care as they did.
What precautions do you take when working inside my home?
We always us the utmost care when working inside your home. We are very particular and treat each situation uniquely. We use protection for floors, drapes and furniture. By the way, we do not require our customers to do any heavy lifting. We will move any furniture and items away from windows and move it all back when we are finished. All of our inside ladders are equipped with rubber bumpers to protect your sils, walls, and floor surfaces.
How about power washing?
Our service can include washing siding, stucco, driveways , eaves, garage doors and more. To do this we use high quality power washers. Soap is applied before the washing and rinsing and we are never satisfied until you are.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my window cleaning and/or power washing?
Typically, no. Like the inside we do not require you to do any heavy lifting. We will take care of that. Some clients raise their own blinds. We do ask that you please insure that all pets are secure and yard gates are unlocked for easy access. We will make sure all gates are closed afterwards.
Do you carry insurance?
Of course. We carry both liability and WCB. Your peace of mind is so important to us. Beware of the “weekend warrior” kind of window cleaner that does not carry proper insurance. Using anyone else but a professional may leave you a bigger bill than you had planned!
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
The frequency you chose is a personal preference but there are factors to consider. Do you live near a busy road? Construction? Have we had wind storms? Do you have large trees near your house? Do you live near a busy roadway? All of these factors result in extra dust, dirt, tree pollen, spiders and other insects which result in extra care. Your home is your biggest investment. You will never regret taking good care of it.
We recommend you have your windows cleaned a minimum of twice a year. In southern Alberta we get plenty of sunshine in the winter months so the fall is a good time to get them done as well as spring or summer.
What is the "Five For Four" Plan?
Our “Five for Four” plan has been popular over the years. Get five window cleanings (once every two months) for the price of four. This results in a 20% savings! We come, clean, and leave a card. You never need to call throughout the season.
